Lady Comfort Aishat Amiebenomo

Lady Comfort Aishat Amiebenomo was born on the 26th of August, 1953 to the Ikharo Royal Family of Auchi Kingdom by Alhaji Umaru Abu Ikharo and Alhaja Adishetu Umaru Abu Ikharo (nee Seghosine) of Utsogun Village in Auchi Kingdom.

She attend Usogun Primary School Auchi from 1963 to 1968 where she obtained her Primary School Leaving Certificate in 1968. She then proceeded to the renowned St. Angela’s Girls Grammar School from 1966 to 1971 where she obtained the West African School Certificate in 1971. In her further quest for education, she was admitted into the State School of Nursing from 1973 to 1976 where she obtained the State Registered Nurse Certificate. She thereafter attended the School of Midwifery from 1977 to 1978 and obtained the Certificate of Midwives Board of Nigeria.

Still not satisfied with what she obtained, she gained admission into the University of Benin in 1993 to 1994 where she obtained a merit grade in the Diploma in Nursing Administration and Management (DINAM), Lady Comfort worked in several hospitals across the state before her compulsory retirement in the year 2000, October 4th as a Chief Matron.
